Michael Allan Scott was born in Greensboro, North Carolina. He is a graduate of Guilford College and the University of North Carolina School of Law. He practiced law in Washington, D.C., for 15 years before returning to Greensboro to practice law full time. Michael has been a practicing trial attorney for 30 years and has a proven record of success in jury trials and appellate proceedings
He is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and the American Bar Association, where he serves on the Appellate Litigation Committee. In addition to practicing law, Michael serves as counsel to his family's startup business, which makes nutritional supplements.
